Journey commence with visiting the elephant orphanage and Millennium Elephant Foundation where you can walk, ride, feed and wash them. Climb Lions Rock and take a village safari in Anurudhapura which is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. Then you can visit Nilaveli beach, which is a scenic sandy beach featuring clear water with coral & marine life & boats to Pigeon Island. Journey the leads you to the Elephant Transit Home where orphaned or sick elephants which are then fed and cared for until they are strong enough to be returned to the wild. The journey terminates with a visit to moonstone mines and turtle hatchery where they rescue turtles who are in danger of losing their lives to the fishing industry whether they are caught in nets or hunted for meat.
